Basterma Phyllo Dough Bombs

These phyllo bombs are the perfect crunchy appetizer to wow all your guest at your next event. The spice from the basturma and pepper paste coupled with the halloumi cheese will surely having you rushing to eat all of them until they’re gone.

  • Pre heat oven to 350°F.
  • Melt butter and butter 12 slot cupcake tin with pastry brush.
  • Fold one sheet of phyllo dough in half and gently press into a cup cake tin.
  • Add one slice basterma, 1 tb pepper paste and 1 slice of halloumi cheese.
  • Gently bundle top up and brush with butter, repeat.
  • Bake in 350°F oven for 30 min or until tops are brown and crispy.
  • Remove and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
