
Broad Beans with Eggs
Ingredients
- 1 can Tazah Broad Beans
- 1 Onion Julienne
- ¼ cup Tazah Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp. Tazah Dried Mint Leaves
- 3 eggs
- 2-3 Arabic Pita Bread
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp. Tazah Ghee Substitute with Butter
- Fresh Mint Garnish
- Do Ghazal Ceylon Tea
Instructions
Cooking Method
- Warm up the broad beans over medium heat in a saucepan.1 can Tazah Broad Beans
- Over a skillet, add olive oil and fry onions until caramelized. Set aside.1 Onion, ¼ cup Tazah Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Using the same skillet, add ghee and fry three eggs sunny side up.1 tbsp. Tazah Ghee, 3 eggs
To Assemble
- Break apart bread over a plate, & add the broad beans. Make sure to scoop up broad bean juices. Add a little portion of fried onions following eggs and the remaining fried onions. Season with salt, pepper and crushed mint. Drizzle more olive oil if needed.
