Customer-Paid LTL Freight
Northern California and destinations outside our local routes generally use LTL freight from Los Angeles. Dry, refrigerated and frozen options may be available.
Delivery & Pickup
Orders ship from our Los Angeles warehouse. Customers on approved Southern California routes may receive Karabetian company-truck delivery, while Northern California and destinations outside local coverage generally use customer-paid LTL freight. Free customer pickup and eligible UPS or USPS parcel options are also available.
Four service paths
Start with the destination, product temperature, approximate order size and receiving equipment. Sales and logistics will confirm the practical path and charges for the order.

Karabetian uses company trucks on approved Southern California routes. Eligibility and any applicable threshold depend on the address, route, account and order.
Pickup from our Los Angeles warehouse is free with no minimum. Ordering ahead helps us confirm availability and prepare the order.
UPS and USPS pick up daily. UPS is our preferred parcel carrier for eligible non-glass, non-perishable products that do not require refrigerated or frozen handling.
Customer-paid LTL freight
Orders beyond Karabetian’s Southern California company-route area generally ship through a third-party logistics provider. Karabetian compares available third-party carrier options, but the customer pays the freight charge and carriers may apply a minimum charge per pallet. Final charges vary by carrier, destination, pallet dimensions and weight, temperature requirements and requested services. There is no blanket pallet minimum stated for these orders.
Freight charges and requested carrier services are paid by the customer. Final availability, charges and timing are confirmed for the applicable shipment rather than promised sitewide.
Southern California company trucks
Karabetian delivers on approved Southern California routes with its own trucks. Free freight is available when the applicable order threshold is met.
The threshold is not one public number. It can vary by city, route, account, order amount and receiving conditions. Residential delivery can be arranged when applicable and may involve an additional fee. Sales or the office will confirm the route, threshold, service window and any fee.
Free pickup, no minimum
Customers may place an order through sales, by phone or through available account tools and pick it up at Karabetian without a minimum pickup order.
Confirming the order before arrival can help the team prepare it and confirm current item availability.
Walk-ins welcome
Walk-in customers may place a wholesale order in person and pick it up during the same visit. Product availability, preparation time and account requirements still apply.
For a large, refrigerated, frozen or time-sensitive order, call the office or sales before traveling.
Restricted parcel option
UPS and USPS pick up daily, and UPS is our preferred parcel carrier. Parcel shipping is considered only for products that are not glass, are not perishable and do not require refrigerated or frozen handling. Product, pack, quantity, destination and parcel cost must be reviewed before shipping is confirmed.
If you provide a shipping label for another carrier, pickup can be arranged with the logistics team in advance. The same product and handling restrictions apply.
When LTL may be the better fit
Glass, temperature-controlled, large or mixed orders generally require another shipping method. Sales and logistics may recommend LTL freight or warehouse pickup when parcel shipping is unsuitable or uneconomical.
