Easy & Authentic Falafel

Falafel is a traditional Mediterranean dish that has been enjoyed for centuries. This crunchy vegetarian patty made of ground fava beans, chickpeas and seasoned with authentic spice mixtures. Bite into the moist center full of flavorful spices.
Tazah falafel special mix is versatile, easy and fun to prepare. Try it baked or fried. It can be enjoyed as an appetizer, quick snack, burger, or sandwich. Whizz up with various vegetable toppings and garnish with pickles of choice.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Tazah Falafel Mix
  • 200 ml Water
  • Vegetable Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Empty the content of falafel powder mix sachet in a bowl
  • Add water
  • Form patties by using either falafel mold or dessert spoon (5 cm diameter)

Fried

  • Pre-heat vegetable oil.
  • Then put on low heat and deep fry 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Baked

  • Pre-heat the over to 375° C
  • Bake the uncooked patties in a flat greased tray
  • Bake about 5 minutes on each side or until getting crunchy golden brown texture

Notes

Each sachet can make about 15-20 balls
