  • 1 tbs Tazah Olive Oil
  • ½ Onion Diced
  • All Spice To taste
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste
  • ¼ cup Pine Nuts

Instructions

For the Hummus

  • Add chickpeas, garlic, salt, and ice water in the food processor.
  • Run until smooth
  • Then add lemon juice and tahini
  • Run your food processor (until your family starts to complain about the noise)
  • Wait a few minutes for the mixture to settle.
  • If it's too thick, add a little bit of water and mix
  • Finally, add your mixture into a serving bowl and spread it evenly

For the Topping

  • Gently toast the pine nuts, either in a pan with a touch of oil or in a toaster oven with a spray of oil
  • Set pine nuts aside
  • Sauté onions and meat in olive oil
  • Add spices
  • Top hummus with meat followed by the pine nuts
  • Drizzle olive oil on top
  • And just like that you have a mouth watering hummus b'lahme!

Notes

Watch pine nuts carefully as they tend to burn easily when toasting.
