Sauteed Green Beans

An easy green bean dish that's sautéed with dried mint, olive oil, and Aleppo pepper. Ideal for those last-minute lunches! These sautéed green beans are a combination of a light, nutritious, and healthy meal!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Green Beans fresh or frozen
  • 2-3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Tomato
  • ½ Onion
  • 2 tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • ¼ cup Tazah Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
  • 1 tbsp. Tazah Dry Crushed Mint Leaves
  • 1 tbsp. Tazah Aleppo Pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Rinse beans and trim the edges.
    16 oz. Green Beans
  • Peel garlic and mince finely.
    2-3 Garlic Cloves
  • Chop onions into long strips.
    ½ Onion
  • Chop the tomato into small cubes
    1 Tomato
  • Into a pan, add olive oil and onions. Sauté until translucent.
    ½ Onion, ¼ cup Tazah Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
  • Over medium to high heat, add garlic. Sauté for a minute.
    2-3 Garlic Cloves
  • Add tomatoes and sauce for a minute.
    1 Tomato
  • Add the trimmed green beans, sauté and cover. Stir every 2 minutes until cooked or when the bean has softened.

  • Season with salt, Aleppo pepper, and mint leaves.
    1 tbsp. Tazah Dry Crushed Mint Leaves, Salt, 1 tbsp. Tazah Aleppo Pepper
  • Drizzle olive oil.
  • Serve with bread or rice.
