
Strawberry Tart
Ingredients
Layer 1: Crust
- 1 Packet Biscuits
- 1/4 Cup Walnuts
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 2 Tbsp Milk
- 1/4 Cup Tazah Vanilla Custard
- 1/3 to 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 Cups Milk
Layer 2: Custard Creme Filling
- 1/4 Cup Tazah Vanilla Custard
- 1/3 to 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 Cups Milk
Layer 3: Strawberry Glaze
- 1/4 Cup Tazah Vanilla Custard
- 1/3 to 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Frozen strawberries (purée them using a food processor)
- 1/4 Cup Whipping cream (or milk)
- 1 Cup Milk
- 4-5 Drops Red food coloring
Topping
- Freshly sliced strawberries
- Strawberry Syrup
Instructions
Layer 1: Crust
- Blend ingredients in a food processor
- Line a baking pan in parchment paper
- Evenly distribute crust and press down until flat
Layer 2: Custard Creme Filling
- Add all ingredients in a pot under low heat and stir until mixture thickens
- Add mixture over layer 1 (crust)
- Place pan in the fridge for 15 min before adding the third layer
Layer 3: Strawberry Glaze
- Mix and cook until consistency thickens
- Add the third layer to the pan
- Let cool one fridge for 15 min
Topping
- Decorate with sliced strawberries
- Drizzle Strawberry Syrup
